Splish Splash

Perhaps not the most well-focused shot, but kind of exciting.

Black-breasted, White-tipped Red and Yellow-beaked Bird Thingy

I never claimed to be an ornithologist. ;-)

N.B.- I just found out that this is a Moorhen.

Right Outside Linebacker

My son, lining up and getting ready and making a tackle that brought lots of 'ooohs' and 'ahhhs' from the crowd. Horse collar, you ask? No blood, no foul!! Youth football is great!! My wife took the second shot.

The Next Motocross Champion

Naw. Just my son with his new Razor 500 Dirt Bike; his birthday present this year.

A View From the Car

Taken from my car whilst stopped at a red light. Just goes to show that it's all about the light!

Bay Area Park 'Infrared'

Messing with Photoshop. Channel mixer/monochrome/green slider all the way light/blue slider all the way dark. Pretty cool, huh?

Abstract Alaska

Here are some shots of Alaska from a more abstract viewpoint.

Bald Eagle

The Bald Eagle is not only my favorite bird, but it is a majestic symbol of America and the freedoms that we enjoy on a daily basis. One of the reasons that I wanted to visit Alaska was to photograph this incredible creature. I was blessed to be able to see two of them, and with a Canon 300mm F4 L prime lens, I was able to capture these images.

The Wonders of Alaska

I went to Alaska on a business trip in October and had some time to do some shooting. This is one majestic place, as I hope the photos below depict.
